Trò chơi Sudoku gồm 2 loại: Sudoku 9 và Sudoku 6. Sudoku 9 là một hình vuông lớn gồm 9 hàng và 9 cột, được chia thành 9 vùng. Mỗi hàng, cột và vùng phải chứa tất cả các chữ số từ 1 đến 9; mỗi chữ số chỉ xuất hiện một lần trong mỗi hàng, cột và vùng. Sudoku 6 có hình thức đơn giản hơn, chỉ bao gồm 6 hàng, 6 cột và 6 vùng.

Nếu thay số bằng chữ trong các ô Sudoku thì chúng ta sẽ có Wodoku. Wodoku cũng bao gồm 2 loại là Wodoku 9 và Wodoku 6. Trong Wodoku, mỗi từ cũng chỉ xuất hiện một lần ở mỗi hàng, cột và vùng. Để bạn dễ theo dõi và dễ học khi giải câu đó, cuốn sách sử dụng nhiều màu cho các ô chứa các từ khác nhau.

Wodoku sẽ có thực hành bằng cách yêu cầu bạn điền từ thích hợp vào các ô trống, sau đó đọc to những từ đó. Việc này sẽ giúp bạn nhớ từ lâu hơn. Nếu không biết nghĩa của một từ, hãy xem phần dịch nghĩa từ vựng ở trang 106

The Unit Tests: Each unit (containing 5-10 grammar points) has a unit test with 8 questions. These tests are similar to the previous practice tests, only they have more questions and cover more grammar points. Unit Tests are usually a student essay, article from a magazine, or passage from a textbook.

The Chapter Tests: There are 3 chapters with 3-5 units each. At the end of each chapter, there is a chapter test with a passage containing 8 questions. These chapter tests contain material from the chapters’ units, along with the grammar points within those units.

The Actual Test: The last section of this book is your chance to see what you have learned and how much you have improved. It will give you a feeling for what you should expect on the Language Form and Meaning section of the TOEFL Junior test.

The dictation portion of each unit also acts as a second example question so you can practice a specific question type before tackling the practice tests.

The Practice Tests: Each question type unit has a practice test to give you a chance to answer specific question types on their own before trying out the actual test at the end of this book. The practice tests will show your improvements on each question type as you study their specific units.

The Sample Actual Test: The last section of this book is your chance to see what you learned and how much you have improved. It will give you a feeling for what you should expect on the real TOEFL Junior listening test. This sample actual test is only based on the announcements/talks and the conversations.
